How can we deal with the emotional scarring that comes with adapting to tech and why do we like it so much?

I want to share the website Marco Buetikofer and me provided for a workshop:

Certain emotions are more often triggered by the use of technology. In the seminar a cultural critique of technology will be discussed to form a debate around this invisible mechanism. Writers such as Wendy Chun, James Bridle, Benjamin Bratton and Lauren Berlant and various others will be introduced alongside visual pop-culture to raise question, develop strategies and share emotions in this time of technological change. It’s a form of exposing our vulnerability and discover a strength within this ambivalent position, to consume and work with technology in a conscious critical way.

This workshop took place at OCT Creative Culture Park, Hall 2, Dec 8, 2 PM
It’s is part of the exhibition Fun Palace 歡樂宮殿 , curated by Bruce Bo Ding and involving artists Tega Brian, Emma Charles, Sheryl Cheung, Yingting Cui, Coca Dai, Aiwu, Sam Lavigne, Shuang Li, Michelle Proksell+Gabriele de Seta, Riar Rizaldi, Qing Shi, Zhenhao Shi, Alice Wang, Guoyong Wu, Qing Zhang
